Tapasee Pannu is from Ludhiana, Punjab. She was one of the contestants of Femina Miss India 2008, a beauty pageant organized by Femina, a women’s magazine and Pantaloons, a multi format retailer in India. She won the Pantaloons Fresh Face and Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin sub-titles on April 05, 2008. Also spelt as Tapsi, heroine being introduced in tollywood with Manoj starring ‘Jhumandi Nadam’ film which yet to be released. Tapsi got another offer with Prabhas. She expressed her happiness for getting another offer before her first film release in Twitter. Tapsi confirmed as heroine opposite to Prabhas in film produced by Dil Raju. Dasarath will direct the film. Kajal Agarwal selected as heroine first but heroine refused to reduce her remuneration. So Dil Raju placed Tapsi in place of Kajal now.
